MO Could Require Fire Safe Cigarettes

Missouri lawmakers could soon ask Gov. Jay Nixon to sign a bill requiring all cigarettes sold in the Show-Me State to put themselves out.

The technology for fire safe cigarettes was developed five years ago, when New York passed a law saying all cigarettes must self extinguish.
